A curious mind.
A useful
question.
I’m Sharon. I help teams turn programme ambition into useful evidence, learning, and decisions.
Every good story starts with a closer look.
I’m Sharon. I help teams turn programme ambition into useful evidence, learning, and decisions.
Make the pathway with the people living it. Put the assumptions on the table.
Look for patterns. Ask what is changing, for whom, and why.
lloopd and Qare+ take the same questions into products: what gets in the way, and what could work better?
Type a challenge. Explore a working change pathway.
Sharon has the audacity
to bet on herself. Always!
I work where programme ambition meets the harder question: how will we know, and what will we do with what we learn?
I’m a monitoring, evaluation, research and learning professional with experience working across Africa and Asia. With a background in statistics and computer science, I help teams ask better questions, make sense of evidence, and use what they learn to make better decisions.
As Regional MEL Advisor at Farm Africa, I provide technical leadership across a multi-country portfolio. My independent work includes measuring systems change, supporting market systems development, building dashboards, and helping teams learn and adapt.
I’ve worked across agriculture, food systems, climate resilience, health, land governance, justice, and energy access. I’m also a founder. Through lloopd and Qare+, I’m taking what I’ve learned about people, systems, and the challenges they face into products that aim to make a difference.
When I’m not working on MEL, I’m probably building a website, starting a DIY project, travelling or getting carried away with an idea I just had to try. I love figuring things out, making them look good, and seeing where a little curiosity can take me.

That’s the question behind my work.
Explore the approach, the assignments, or where we could work together.
Start with what your programme needs.
Follow the pathway. Explore the work. Let’s find your next step.
What we learn changes what we ask. It’s a loop, not a straight line.
A clear pathway is a proposition to test. Context, incentives, and people can change the result.
Which assumptions connect our activities to the change we hope to see?
What evidence would challenge our explanation—and whose experience is missing?
Who will review what we learn, and what decisions can they actually change?
Explore the problem, the work, and what it enabled.
You don’t need a perfect brief. A programme challenge and a sense of what you need are a good start.
Did you know?
“Someone should build that” is a dangerous sentence around me.

The idea. The problem. The solution.Bring a challenge. Build and edit a working Theory of Change.
“I have travelled far enough to know that the world is big, but small enough to know that we are all connected.”
Websites, DIYs, and whatever idea won’t leave me alone. Making things is one of my favourite ways to spend my free time.
Sometimes it starts in a browser. Sometimes it ends with a pile of wood. Same curiosity, different tools.

I’m currently working on wood pixel wall art.
